Gabriele Maspero Libri Antichi, Como, Italia.
THIS. BOOK.
Is pretty amazing. One of the best reads I’ve had all year. It’s been on the NY Times Best Seller List for 56 weeks now, and I just finished it today. It was great, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s a fan of dark fantasy and mysteries.
However, when I finished reading it, I couldn’t help but feel as though it were “unfinished.” The author left the book hanging at the start of what seemed like a new adventure. This being a fairly new book, I assumed a sequel must be planned, so I checked the wiki article for any news about a new book.
And OH MY GOD.
TIM BURTON IS MAKING A FILM ADAPTATION.
No news for a sequel yet, BUT HOW FUCKING AMAZING IS THAT?!
Actually there is going to be a second book, Ransom Riggs said so on his blog.

This leather-bound bible saved a German soldier’s life in 1917 when a grenade was thrown into his trench during the battle for Verdun. This book is part of Europeana - an online history archive.
